Spring has arrived at last.  The baby calves are in the fields overlooking the sea and the piglets are growing.  The weather has been sunny and warm and we are thinking of going surfing this weekend!

 

Special early bird offer eating at 6pm £16 for two courses £20 for three courses

 

Open on 4th May, 25th May and fathers day for Sunday lunch from 12noon-3pm two courses for £12.50 three courses for £16.50

Two courses for £19.50 three courses for £23.50

 

Starters

Mushroom and sherry soup served with crunchy croutons

 

Local Tregida organic smoked salmon and avocado salad with mango and fresh pineapple drizzled with a warm cirtus dressing

 

Smooth chicken liver and Courvousier pate served with melba toast

 

Roasted beetroot and local goats cheese salad with a red wine dressing and walnuts

 

Local mature cheddar twice baked souflees sebed with a crisp salad

 

Main Course

Chicken (from Devon) breast topped with a homemade tapenade sitting on a bed of pepper and bean ragout 

 

Trevigue farm’s free range South Devon beef slow cooked in a guiness served with a mild cream and Cornish blue sauce and served with basmati and wild rice

 

Locally caught black bream fillet pan fried sitting on a bed of minted cabbage

 

Slow roasted leg of Trevigue farm’s Gloucestershire old spot pork marianted in Cornish scrumpy, fennel seeds and rosemary sitting on  a parsnip and apple mash

 

Sorrel from Jills garden and sauteed shallot omlette (using free-range eggs from Tom, Bray farm) served with a crisp fennel and spinach salad

 

All served with seasonal vegetables and local potatoes

 

Puddings

 

Apple and first of the season Hazels rhubarb tart served with clotted cream

 

Pineapple marianted in rum and brown sugar served with Cornish vanilla ice cream

 

An assiette of puddings:  a mini creme brulee, sticky toffee pudding and a lemon meringue mini tart

 

Lemon and lime cheesecake with a ginger biscuit base

 

Dark chocolate and rum torte served with double cream and amaretti biscuits

 

Cornish blue and Davidstow cheddar served with celery and biscuits

All the food is hand made at Trevigue.  Your food is freshly prepared and cooked to order so please be patient if there is a short wait.

Trevigue Restaurant is open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 6.00-11.00pm (last orders at 8.30pm).  Reservations advisable.
