Trevigue - Bed and Breakfast

The 16th Century farmhouse at Trevigue has been lovingly restored and great care has been taken to preserve its amazing atmosphere and beauty. Nestling in a hollow on the spectacular cliffs of North Cornwall, the farmhouse is warm and inviting.

Flagstone slate floors and oak beamed ceilings greet you as you enter from the ancient cobbled courtyard and you will receive a very warm welcome with a refreshing pot of tea or a coffee and a selection of mouth-watering homemade biscuits.

The sitting room with its large slate open fireplace, deep sofas and wide range of books is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The farmhouse has been exquisitely furnished by the family over the years and the three en-suite rooms are reached via a winding oak staircase.

The Grey Room

A large double en-suite room with oak beamed ceiling and an exceptional five foot hand carved oak bed. The en-suite shower room leads off the main bedroom and there is a colour TV and coffee/tea making facilities. This charming room looks on to the cobbled courtyard and is perfect for watching the swallows in the summer and for enjoying the starlit skies at night.

The Grey Room

The Pink Room

A double room with 5ft wide bed and en-suite shower, tea and coffee making facilities. A sunny, airy room with windows on each side. Perfect for relaxing, reading a book and whiling the day away. Total relaxation overlooking the ancient cobbled courtyard.

The Twin Room

A delightful cozy twin room with a brand new en-suite shower room, tea and coffee making facilites. The beds are pocket sprung zip and link so could be made into a 6ft bed. Lovely snug and warm.

A delicious full English breakfast (cooked on the Aga!) is served with Trevigue's free-range Gloucestershire Old Spot sausages (probably the best sausages you have ever tasted), Trevigue's traditional dry-cured Gloucestershire Old Spot bacon (an experience in itself) and brother-in-law's organic eggs from Tremaine farm. Fresh fruit and yoghurt are of course also available.

A stroll before breakfast along the cliffs or down to Strangles beach to skim pebbles on the sea and watch for seals and dolphins will soon work up a healthy appetite! For the really early bird, sunrise over the valley is an unforgettable sight.

Open from Easter to the end of October
To confirm your booking, a deposit of £50 is required, payable to 'J Crocker' and must be received within 10 days with a letter of confirmation, otherwise the room may be re-let. Guests are strongly advised to take out holiday cancellation insurance, as they will be liable for the full cost of the holiday if the room is unable to be re-let.
Children over 12 are welcome.
We regret that we do not accept pets.
We will expect your arrival between 5 and 6 pm but if you are likely to arrive later than this, please contact us to arrange this.
During your stay the house is open to you at all times.
We operate a strict no-smoking policy.
Our restaurant is open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. If you wish to eat at the restaurant, please reserve your table on booking to avoid disappointment as the restaurant is very popular.
